Founder & Chief Medical Officer
AMS was founded with the purpose of combining technology, clinical expertise, financial insight, and data science to help manage and mitigate the disproportionate that impact catastrophic claims, specialty pharmaceuticals, and implant costs have on overall medical cost trend increases. Through AMS, Dr. Borans has streamlined the way payers all across the healthcare spectrum can better understand and address the most costly and complex claims problems they encounter every day.
Dr. Borans is a respected and much in-demand speaker at seminars worldwide for claims professionals. She has appeared on a multitude of educational panels, workshops, and podcasts, in addition to hosting webinars on a regular basis.
Prior to forming AMS, Dr. Borans was Medical Director at Executive Health Resources, where she oversaw insurance denial management, appropriateness of care, and length of stay programs in over 50 hospitals spanning 15 states.
She began her professional career in medicine as a private practice physician at Fountainville Medical Specialists in Doylestown, PA.
Dr. Borans earned her medical degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. She completed an internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, also in Philadelphia. She holds a BA in Biology from Brandeis University.
Founder & CEO
Peter Borans is the CEO of AMS, a company he co-founded in 2003. Peter, alongside his partner and sister Dr. Stacy Borans, conceptualized and created AMS’s PREDICT Platform, which includes PredictDx, PredictRx, PredictIx, Profiler, CensusRater, and PredictPi. AMS’s AI-powered PREDICT Platform combines clinical insights and financial analysis of the costliest and most complex medical diagnoses to guide enterprise-wide initiatives.
Prior to AMS, Peter held executive roles with Sierra Atlantic, an Oracle consulting company based out of Boston that was ultimately acquired by Hitachi, as well as of Sceptre Database Consultants, where he had a key role in building the privately owned 8-person Oracle outsourcing and consulting company into a 25-person, multi-million-dollar organization that was ultimately bought by Sierra Atlantic.
Peter also enjoyed a long career with Back Bay Restaurant Group rising from Assistant General Manager to Vice President of IT/IS. As a member of its executive committee Peter was responsible for growth and strategic direction of the 35 unit, $100 million, multi-concept restaurant company.
Peter is a 1993 graduate of the Whittemore School of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire.
SVP, Product
Nic Andre is AMS’ SVP of Product. Having over ten years experience at AMS, Nic’s skillset is finely tuned to the self-funded industry. Nic is a Certified Self-Funding Specialist (CSFS), a member of HCAA’s Emerging Leaders Program, and holds a degree in finance from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.
Nic leads a nimble team within AMS that is responsible for the conception and creation of the next generation of AMS products, such as PredictPi, Profiler, CensusRater, and AI-Bill. This team also assists in the maintenance of AMS’s PREDICT Suite, as well as devising new ways to make use of AMS’ ever-growing claims data warehouse.
Outside of AMS, Nic plays the keyboard, drums, and is an expert skier. Nic also enjoys mountain biking and working on cars that are older than he is.
Chief Financial Officer
Oliver Bell is AMS’ Chief Financial Officer. He has been a B2B software executive for over 15 years, most recently as CFO at Terminus, an account-based marketing platform. Prior to that he worked at Braze (NASDQ: BRZE), a customer lifecycle engagement platform, where he served as SVP of finance and operations.
He oversees all financial, legal, human resources, and administration activities to help the company achieve its next phase of growth.
Earlier in his career, he spent three years at Salesforce after the company acquired Buddy Media, where he led revenue operations.
Bell holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Harvard University. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
VP, Stop Loss Solutions
Tyler is AMS’ Vice President of Stop Loss Solutions. With extensive experience across the self-funded industry, Tyler is responsible for developing new relationships and expanding existing relationships with Stop Loss Carriers, MGUs, Reinsurers, Brokers, and Third-Party Administrators. He also supports the Product and Marketing teams in enhancing and promoting AMS’s solutions for the self-funded community.
Prior to AMS, Tyler held leadership positions at two insurance and healthcare ML/AI start-ups. He started his career at Aon as an Employee Benefits and Managed Care Reinsurance broker.
Tyler graduated from Wheaton College (IL), where he played Football and ran Track & Field. He resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and two kids. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and training for marathons.
EVP, Sales
Vladimir N. Cadet is AMS’ Executive Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining the AMS team, Vlad served on its Board of Directors for nearly 5 years. Vlad’s passion and focus to AMS’s executive strategy makes him an integral part of the team.
With an extensive experience in the medical device industry and in healthcare analytics, Vlad provides clients with a unique insight into provider operations and pricing.
Vlad earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Administration, Management, and Policy at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) in Atlanta, Georgia. Vlad also completed several years of coursework and clinical rotations in MSM’s Medical Doctorate (MD) program. He graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Health Studies in 2004.

Chief Strategy Officer
David Cardelle, R.Ph., is AMS’ Chief Strategy Officer. David joined AMS in June 2021 and is a Registered Pharmacist with an extensive 30+ year experience in the healthcare industry. Leveraging years of expertise and domain knowledge in the payment integrity (PI) industry, David worked with various health plans and companies to evaluate, advise and improve PI outcomes.
David’s keen business acumen for strategic planning, depth of industry knowledge, and impressive track record in developing innovative payment integrity solutions will continue to transform the payment integrity industry and affordability.
He has worked in various key roles as a Provider, working in retail and hospital pharmacies, as a Payer, working for a large BCBS plan as well as a regional HMO in Cambridge, MA, and as an outsourced Payment Integrity Partner, working with dozens of health plans across the U.S.
Most of David’s career has been dedicated toward developing and managing new, innovative payment integrity solutions for the Payer industry. He pioneered the first outsource audit service for specialty injectable overpayments as well as developed and managed Hospital Bill Review, DRG Validation, Home Infusion, Renal Dialysis, DME and Implant Audit and Recovery programs. Most recently, David helped to develop a unique transaction based delivery model to help automate a variety of pre-submission payment accuracy solutions.
David has a BS in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Boston, MA.
VP, Installations
Kristin Cartier is AMS’ Vice President of Installations. In this role Kristin collaborates closely with the Customer Success team and internal subject matter experts ensuring a seamless implementation and installation of our cutting-edge solutions.
Prior to joining AMS, Kristin served as Director of Vendor Strategy & Oversight at UnitedHealthcare Group’s Payment Integrity team. Earlier in her career, she gained considerable experience and insurance risk knowledge in roles at Cigna, Sedgwick CMS, and The Hartford.
Kristin received her Executive Business Management degree from Bay Path University. She is an avid reader, volunteer, and enjoys cruising and travel.
VP, Complex Clinical Solutions
Allison Condon is AMS’ Vice President of Complex Clinical Solutions.
Allison has been with AMS since 2022 and has over 10 years of experience in revenue cycle and payment accuracy health care audit programs including carve-out and implantable devices, utilization review, and contract compliance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of San Francisco and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Arkansas. Allison began her nursing career as an Army Nurse and has worked in a variety of specialties.
Allison leads a team within AMS that is responsible for the clinical support and management of PredictPi and AI-Bill products. She and the team work closely with clients to provide education and support while customizing usage of PredictPi, PredictIx, and all AI-Bill products to maximize client driven outcomes through data analysis, workflow enhancement, and policy implementation. Her team also works closely with IT for product enhancement and quality assurance (QA) internally as well as for individual clients.
Outside of AMS, you can find her playing with her crazy and rambunctious dogs, hanging out with her friends and family, or attempting to cook new recipes that her picky eaters will not touch
VP, Compliance
Aimee Davis is AMS’ Vice President of Compliance. A Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Aimee joined AMS in 2022 to help the company coordinate internal workings pertaining to its expanding client base and growing team.
Aimee comes to AMS with over ten years’ experience working with businesses on employment law and human resource matters, and management trustees in the self-funded, multi-employer benefits arena. Her proficiencies in these areas have led her to a position overseeing AMS’s healthcare compliance, legal, and human resources operations.
Aimee holds a degree in English with a minor in creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
When not geeking out over AMS’ newest tech, you can find Aimee working on her latest novel – usually in the company of a tiny horde of foster kittens.
Chief Clinical Officer
AnnMarie DeAngelis, MD is AMS’ Chief Clinical Officer. AnnMarie has been with AMS since 2021. Prior to joining AMS, she worked as a primary care pediatrician in central Massachusetts for 20 years.
AnnMarie leads the clinical team who are involved in most of the AMS products. The team utilizes their variety of clinical and industry backgrounds to provide up-to-date, relevant clinical data forming the foundation for our products, hands-on client education and product support, and continual enhancement of the products. AnnMarie is proud of the collaborative effort the team puts in across all products and departments at AMS.
AnnMarie has a medical degree from UMass Chan Medical School and completed her residency in pediatrics at Boston Childrens Hospital and Boston Medical Center combined program. She also has a BA in Biology from the College of the Holy Cross.
Outside of AMS, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking her grandmother’s family recipes, and planning the next family vacation.
CTO & Data Protection/ Privacy Officer
Jay Donoghue is AMS’ CTO & Data Protection/Privacy Officer. Hired in 2015, Jay has long worked behind the scenes at AMS developing the first client portal and providing a myriad of IT services all before officially joining the AMS team.
As CTO, Jay is responsible for driving development and support for all things IT, including the PREDICT Platform of software, internal HIPAA and HiTrust compliance, and the aforementioned client portal maintenance/updates.
Jay obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to his employment at AMS, Jay enjoyed a twenty-year career at Analog Devices. At the onset, Jay designed hardware and software to perform electrical verification of semiconductor products. Moving forward, he turned his focus to software, managing a team responsible for the design, development, and support of applications to drive the industrial supply chain. This included enterprise data integrations, invoice verification and manufacturing process instructions. Finally, Jay rose to Quality Engineering Manager, leading a group of engineers responsible for customer quality issue resolution using the 8D process.
Jay is a certified ASQ Six Sigma green belt.
VP, Clinical Informatics
Lee Patrick is AMS’s Vice President of Clinical Informatics. In 2017, she began her career as a Clinical Review Nurse supporting the AMS’s core services area and PREDICT Suite of products. Now, Lee leads a team that is responsible for the upkeep and development of PredictRx and the Oncology Treatment Module.
Lee is a detail-oriented nursing professional with extensive, progressive healthcare management expertise with experience in Risk Management and Patient Safety, Process Improvement and Case Management, Patient Satisfaction and Customer Service, Operations and Budgeting, Healthcare Informatics and Software Development, Organizational Restructuring and Integration, Administration, Grievances, Appeals, and Medical Review. Her experience includes the areas of acute care; physician office practice; acute, subacute, and post-acute physical rehabilitation; long term acute care and long-term care; as well as managed care insurance, independent review organization external appeals, and healthcare information technology.
Lee is a certified professional in healthcare risk management (CPHRM) and has served on the Board of the Philadelphia Area Society for Healthcare Risk Management (PASHRM), a state chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), as Secretary, Webmaster, and President. She is also currently on the Board of the Pennsylvania Association for Healthcare Quality (PAHQ) as Webmaster and is a member of the Greater Delaware Valley-American Nursing Informatics Association (GDV-ANIA) formally known as the Delaware Valley Nursing & Computer Network (DVNCN). She also holds a certification in healthcare environmental management (HEM) and is a certified professional in aging services risk management (CPASRM).
Fun facts about Lee, she won two beauty pageants as a teen and loves fancy, fast cars, especially Porsches.
SVP, Customer Success
Jesse Carabase is AMS’ Senior Vice President of Customer Success.
Before joining AMS, Jesse Carabase held various leadership roles within the CVS Health organization. For the past six years, he served as a Senior Leader at Meritain Health, where he drove medical and pharmacy savings through network strategy and medical cost containment/PBM solutions. Prior to this, he successfully completed Aetna’s Experienced Financial Leadership Program, contributing in high-profile roles across the payer landscape, encompassing value-based care, self-funded and fully insured, commercial, and government health plans.
Jesse’s professional journey began in public accounting and consulting, where he worked with clients in various industries for the first decade of his career, initially at PwC and then BlumShapiro. Jesse holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University Of Connecticut School Of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Outside of work, Jesse enjoys spending time with his family, fitness, reading and cooking. He is actively involved in the community, coaching youth baseball, football and basketball.
VP, Clinical Analytics
Jackie Clingman is AMS’s Vice President, Clinical Analytics. Jackie joined AMS in 2018 as a clinical review nurse and now leads a team responsible for development and implementation of the PredictCM treatment plan module. She also oversees clinical costs throughout PredictDx.
Spanning over two decades in her nursing career, Jackie specialized in trauma and critical care in Emergency Department and Intensive Care units. Before joining AMS she successfully developed, implemented, and managed an American College of Surgeons verified Level III trauma program at her local hospital.
Jackie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She also holds a certificate in Parish Nursing.

VP, Financial & Clinical Surveillance
Heather Fox is AMS’ Vice President of PredictPi. Heather began her journey at AMS as a Clinical Review Nurse and now leads her team of clinical staff to integrate PredictDx, PredictRx, PredictIx and Policy specific rules/edits to the AMS PredictPi members. These rules/edit provide for a quick and easy pull of claims on the subscriber end that have clinical, financial, policy and/or code specific issues that merit a review.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. For over 18 years Heather has been a nurse with a specialization in Medical-Surgical, Critical Care and Surgery. Heather first made the cross over to non-clinical nursing as a Cost Containment Nurse with an insurance organization focused on the development, underwriting and servicing of alternative risk products, including captives and specialty insurance programs.
In Heather’s free time you can catch her kayaking, hiking and biking along the Ohio trails with family and friends.
VP, Renewals & Relationships
Stephanie Belschner is AMS’ Vice President of Customer Success, Renewals & Relationships. Stephanie has been with AMS since 2015 and is the Culture Ambassador across the organization.
Stephanie holds a key role in fostering strong relationships to drive business growth and ensure client retention. She pioneered the development of the organization’s client management division, leveraging her expertise to cultivate and maintain valuable connections.
At the forefront of relationship management and outreach efforts, Stephanie not only establishes and nurtures client connections but also crafts and executes innovative strategies to pursue new business opportunities. Her role encompasses delivering impactful presentations, strategizing for short and long-term business growth, and identifying necessary resources to drive success.
As a member of the leadership team, Stephanie champions the company’s products, services, and achievements. Her guidance aids the trajectory of sales and marketing initiatives, amplifying the company’s visibility and impact within the industry.
Stephanie is a Certified Self-Funding Specialist (CSFS). Her skill in client relations, honed through a decade of public service in Massachusetts coupled with her adeptness in public speaking, networking, and leadership, stems from a rich career history spanning both private firms and the public sector.
